From affected people for affected people - these are the women behind Glückssträhnen
Founder
Julia
Who would have thought that the diagnosis "Androgenetic Alopecia at 15" could ever mean something good? But that is exactly what happened! Julia lost much of her hair early on, and that's exactly what set her on the path to founding Lucky Strands. Many years as a second hair wearer and an apprenticeship as a wigmaker later, she now looks after all aspects of the business - but her particular passion is knotting wigs and hairpieces.
.Social Media Manager
Nina
The hairstyle queen herself - Nina is simply a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to hair styles and video production. She provides you with great hairstyle inspirations and also answers your questions on our social media appearances. Through many years of experience as a second hair wearer, she knows exactly what moves you and what is important to you. Her big love (besides husband and child) is entertaining and educational content on Instagram & Co.
Make-up artist
Lea
As a trained make-up artist, Lea has learned wig-making from scratch and has already made numerous wigs at the theater. Through her hairdressing training, hair coloring and cutting are also part of her skillset - so she is the perfect addition to Team Glückssträhnen. Realistic hairlines for wigs and stylish haircuts for second hair wearers are her passion.
Shipping associate
Birgit
If you hold your Glückssträhnen package in your hands and wonder who packed it so lovingly, the answer is: Birgit! She is active in the background and is only rarely "spotted" on Instagram when she picks out your wish topper or wig and sends it to you in the fastest way possible. Birgit doesn't have hair loss but still likes to wear her Jane with bangs - in the beginning only for special occasions, but now the topper is part of her daily styling. We love a supportive Queen <3
